50 Years!
Gys and Lynn Koops had been married about a year in 1973 and were tired of hauling house trailers. They decided to buy the sporting good store B&B Cycles marking the beginning of Koops Bike Shop’s 50- year journey. Initially selling a variety of items, they narrowed down to bicycles and accessories. For almost five decades, they worked side by side with family members. Although Gys is mostly retired, he can still be found at the store during busy seasons. Lynn is consistently present, managing the bookkeeping and sales counter.
